In 2018 our family of 8 hiked the Appalachian Trail. A common slogan we adopted was "Hike Your Own Hike." This was never more true then it was of us. We had to learn to tune out many outside voices that were telling us how to do our hike and decide for ourselves what we wanted our hike to look like. A good motto for life too I'd say!
